Terms and Conditions of Service

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the acopledigital.com website and the engagement of Acople Digital, Ltd. services ('the Company'), based in San José, Costa Rica. By using the site or engaging our services, you accept these terms.
1. Services
Acople Digital provides web development, mobile application development, IT support, and technology consulting services. The scope, timelines, and costs of each project are defined in a specific proposal or contract signed by both parties.
2. Engagement process
Engagement begins with a free consultation. The Company then prepares a technical and commercial proposal. Services activate only after the contract is signed and the agreed deposit is received.
3. Intellectual property
All code, design, and content developed by Acople Digital for the client transfers to the client upon full payment of the project, unless otherwise agreed. The client grants the Company the right to reference the project for commercial purposes.
4. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any sensitive information exchanged during the business relationship. This obligation extends for two (2) years after the contract ends.
5. Limitation of liability
The Company is not liable for indirect damages, data loss, or service interruptions caused by factors outside its control (force majeure, third-party infrastructure failures, etc.). The Company's maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.
6. Acceptable use
Using acopledigital.com for illegal purposes, distributing malware, conducting cyber attacks, or any activity that harms the Company, other users, or third parties is strictly prohibited.
7. Changes to terms
The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site implies acceptance of the current terms.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Any dispute shall be submitted to the Courts of Justice of San José, Costa Rica.
